Now if you are afraid of snakes that may be a fear that you really don't want to overcome. But if you have been hurt by someone and because of that you are afraid to get back into a relationship then that is probably a fear that you need to overcome. That is a fear you really do need to overcome to have a fulfilling and enjoyable life. Relationships are a high priority in our lives.

John says, "We were born to be brave. The consistent command to us is the command that came to a fearful leader named Joshua: “Be strong and courageous . . . for the LORD your God will be with you” (Joshua 1: 9)."

In Psalm 68, the Psalm I read to start my day says that, "God puts the lonely in families." If your fear is a relationship understand that that is what God wants for you. It is a gift that He has for you so just be courageous ad strong and quit avoiding what God has provided.

I also like what John says, "The antidote to fear is the presence of God."

He has entrusted you with a life that is life at its fullest. Just trust Him to take care of you no matter what. He loves you and He is good.

In other words you are not an accident. I am also reading the Apostle John’s view of Jesus and what He said and did while He was here on earth. In the beginning of Chapter 9 there is a story about a blind man. And the disciples who were with Him asked Him a good question, “Who sinned, this man or his parents that he was born blind? ” Have you ever asked the same thing about something in you that you don’t like?
